This weekend will give us another drink from the fountain of Proverbs. How remarkable it is that God offers us true wisdom! We will consider how as a follower of Jesus, our walk begins with a true view of reality.
We have to see God for who He really is, and then see ourselves in light of Him. Our natural response to this reality is reverent awe (Proverbs calls this “fear.”), which then moves us to love and thankfulness. As we continue our walk with God, we have a choice to continue to see reality as it is or to be foolish and blind. This is a choice we must make every day.
