Catalyst: A person or thing that provokes or speeds significant change or action. History is full of these. This Sunday we hear from just that sort of person: Martin Luther. Often known as the Reformer, Martin steps into a time in history when the line between church and state had become not just blurred, but completely gone. We call it “The Dark Ages,” and Martin Luther’s story brings a bit of light during this murky time in our world. Can one man really be the catalyst for the change that is desperately needed?
