The wisdom of this ancient proverb appears in many parts of the Bible. This weekend we see God’s refining fire at work once again in the book of Ezekiel. Why does God need to refine His people so often? Just like people centuries ago, we are quick to ignore God and dishonor Him in big and small ways. As people at CCC who want to honor God and shine like precious sliver, let’s gather to look at Ezekiel 22 and find practical ways to do this. The LORD Yahweh is looking for people who will “stand in the gap” and do what is right. Let’s learn to honor and shine for Him!
