Have you ever had the experience of reading in your Bible and then thinking, “What was THAT?” Maybe it was confusing, or maybe it seemed to contradict another part of the Bible, or maybe it was just so morally wrong you can’t believe it.
This week we look at two chapters in Ezekiel that are hard passages: Ezekiel 16 and 23. In these chapters of Ezekiel, God is pictured as a jealous lover with Israel’s people as His unfaithful wife. The descriptions are graphic and seem out of character for God’s love. We will try to understand these chapters together and to find God’s message in these hard prophecies.
