In a caring gesture by The One and Only Jesus, He warns His disciples about the intense persecution ahead. He shoots it straight, with no sugar-coating. And yet, as we’ll see in John 15:18-25 and John 16 this Sunday, Jesus also gives His friends resources to make sure they won’t abandon their faith in the fire. Jesus offers us those resources, too, so we can stand strong in times of persecution and pain.
