“Do I have to?” whines a child. “I want to stay here and play!”
Serving others can be exhausting. It is also a paradox. By meeting another person’s needs we find joy for ourselves and please God, too! This week in our series Own the Vision we talk about helping others. How do we overcome selfishness, busyness, and exhaustion to serve the people around us? We will read in John 13:1-17 to see Jesus’ dramatic point for his disciples…and us.
